... has put a new face on a familiar town landmark. The shop which specializes in gas & wood stoves and many artisan and gift items, is located in the historic former home of the Salvation Army.

The building is one of the oldest buildings on Gravenhurst's Muskoka Rd. Built in 1885, it has a long history to be proud of, serving the community for over a century. The building is one of the few to survive the great fire of Sept 23, 1887, when all the buildings south from Harvey St. to Sharpe St.on both sides of Muskoka Rd. were destroyed.

A visit to the shop is a pleasing experience for the senses. Quiet classical music from the Solitudes Series of Nature CDs plays from the corner while the delicious scent of aromatherapy and candles wafts gently throughout.
